The Boundless Voyage Titanium Spatula (Ti1073T) is a full-length, one-piece spatula in titanium. It’s a sturdy unit that won’t break easily, but it’s quite large, so we didn’t end up using it that much at camp. I paid $21 for it.
What’s in the box
A one-piece spatula in TA1 titanium, about 28.5 cm long, with a wide blade that curves up at the sides, a thick 3 mm handle with the Boundless Voyage logo engraved on it and a heart-shaped hanging hole at the end. It comes with a grey drawstring bag that keeps it clean in the kit and stops the edge rubbing against other gear.
What we like

- Thick 3 mm handle doesn’t flex
- Wide, curved blade
- Rustproof TA1 titanium
- Hanging hole and drawstring bag
What we don’t
- Quite large for camp cooking
- Doesn’t fold or fit a mess kit
- Can scratch non-stick pans

Blade and build
This is the spatula’s strong point. It’s one solid piece of titanium, so there’s no joint or hinge to work loose, and the 3 mm handle doesn’t bend or flex when you push it under food. Titanium doesn’t rust, doesn’t react with food and won’t warp or melt on a hot pan the way plastic can, and it goes in the dishwasher at home. The wide blade curves up at the sides, more like a wok turner than a flat spatula, so it scoops as well as flips.
The hard titanium edge has a downside: it can scratch a non-stick or ceramic coating, so it’s best with titanium, stainless steel or cast iron pans.

Size at camp
The size is why we didn’t end up using it much. At 28.5 cm it’s a full kitchen-size spatula, and it doesn’t fold, so it takes up more room than most camp utensils and won’t fit inside a small pot or mess kit. It’s a better fit for a big pan or a camp kitchen that stays set up in the car than for a small cook kit. The hanging hole helps here: on an S-hook on the kitchen organiser in the back of our car, it’s out of the way and easy to grab.

Camp spatulas compared
We’ve also reviewed Boundless Voyage’s folding titanium spatula (Ti1076T). It’s the opposite trade-off: 16 g, 20.5 cm long, with a wire handle that folds over the blade so it fits inside a small cook pot. The Sea to Summit folding spatula is nylon, so it’s safe on non-stick pans, and it’s our top pick for most camp cooking. The Ti1073T is the sturdiest of the three, for a full-size pan.
