Light modes
The K9111 has two light sources: a small round XPG spotlight next to a square COB flood panel. The XPG spotlight throws a narrower beam for distance, and the COB panel gives a wide, even flood for close-up jobs. You can run either one by itself or both together.
That gives five regular modes: spotlight, floodlight, both together, red light and red flash. The red light is easier on your eyes at night and doesn’t dazzle the person next to you.

Dimming and motion sensor
There are two buttons on top. Hold the power button with a white light on and the brightness slides smoothly from 100% down to 30%, so you can set it exactly where you want it instead of picking from fixed steps.
The second button switches on the motion sensor, which works with the spotlight, the floodlight or both. In sensor mode you wave a hand in front of the headlamp to switch it on or off, which is handy when your hands are wet, dirty or full.

Charging and battery
The K9111 has a built-in 1,200 mAh battery and charges through a USB-C port on the lamp, which sits under a rubber flap that keeps water and dust out. A short USB-A to USB-C cable comes in the box, so you can top it up from a power bank or a USB socket in the car. The battery is built in, so there are no batteries to buy or swap.

Comfort and fit
At 84 g on our scale with the headband, the K9111 is light on the head. The headband is a single elastic strap, black and red, that adjusts with a buckle. The lamp tilts up to 45° in its bracket, so you can aim the light down at your hands or further ahead.

Blukar K9112 vs K9111 vs K9125
Blukar sells three headlamps that look alike in the box, and we have all three. They share the same headband, a 1,200 mAh battery, USB-C charging, a motion sensor and a 45° tilt. The differences are in the light and the controls:
| K9112 | K9111 | K9125 | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Light | COB strip | Spot + flood | Spot + flood |
| Modes | 6 | 8 | 8 |
| Stepless dimming | No | Yes | Yes |
| Red light | Strong, strobe | On, flash | On, SOS |
| Power on the label | 5 W | 8 W | 8 W |
| Weight on our scale | 78 g | 84 g | 83 g |
The K9111 and the Blukar K9125 are close: both have the spotlight, the floodlight, stepless dimming and eight modes. The Blukar K9112 is the simple one, with a single flood light and no dimming.
Between the K9111 and the K9125 there isn’t much in it. The K9125 has bigger lenses and cost us a dollar less, so it would be our pick of the three, but the K9111 does the same job.

Conclusion: Blukar K9111 LED Headlamp
The Blukar K9111 packs a lot into a small headlamp: a spotlight, a floodlight, both together, stepless dimming from 100% to 30%, a red light and a motion sensor, with USB-C charging and a weight of 84 g on our scale. The eight modes on two buttons take some learning, and the battery is built in, so you can’t swap it. I paid $22 for it. For campers and hikers who want both a spot and a flood beam in a light head torch, it’s a very good buy.

Yes. $22 for a spotlight, a floodlight, stepless dimming and a motion sensor is good value. The K9125 is nearly the same headlamp and cost us a dollar less, so buy whichever is cheaper on the day.
