Light modes
The K9125 has two light sources: a large round XPG spotlight next to a rounded COB flood panel. The XPG spotlight throws a narrower beam for distance, and the COB panel gives a wide, even flood for close-up jobs. You can run either one by itself or both together.
That gives five regular modes: spotlight, floodlight, both together, red light and red SOS. The red light is easier on your eyes at night and doesn’t dazzle the person next to you.

Dimming and motion sensor
There are two buttons on top. Hold the power button with a white light on and the brightness slides smoothly from 100% down to 30%, so you can set it exactly where you want it instead of picking from fixed steps.
The second button switches on the motion sensor, which works with the spotlight, the floodlight or both. In sensor mode you wave a hand in front of the headlamp, within about 15 cm, to switch it on or off, which is handy when your hands are wet, dirty or full.

Charging and battery
The K9125 has a built-in 1,200 mAh battery and charges through a USB-C port on the lamp, which sits under a rubber flap that keeps water and dust out. A short USB-A to USB-C cable comes in the box, so you can top it up from a power bank or a USB socket in the car. Blukar quotes 2 to 3 hours for a full charge, about 3.5 hours of light with the spotlight and floodlight on together, and about 5 hours with one of them.

Comfort and fit
At 83 g on our scale with the headband, the K9125 is light on the head. The headband is a single elastic strap, black and red, that adjusts with a buckle. The lamp tilts up to 45° in its bracket, so you can aim the light down at your hands or further ahead.

Blukar K9112 vs K9111 vs K9125
Blukar sells three headlamps that look alike in the box, and we have all three. They share the same headband, a 1,200 mAh battery, USB-C charging, a motion sensor and a 45° tilt. The differences are in the light and the controls:
| K9112 | K9111 | K9125 | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Light | COB strip | Spot + flood | Spot + flood |
| Modes | 6 | 8 | 8 |
| Stepless dimming | No | Yes | Yes |
| Red light | Strong, strobe | On, flash | On, SOS |
| Power on the label | 5 W | 8 W | 8 W |
| Weight on our scale | 78 g | 84 g | 83 g |
The K9125 and the Blukar K9111 are close: both have the spotlight, the floodlight, stepless dimming and eight modes. The Blukar K9112 is the simple one, with a single flood light and no dimming.
The K9125 is our pick of the three. It does everything the K9111 does, has bigger lenses and cost us a dollar less, and it’s only a dollar more than the simpler K9112.

Conclusion: Blukar K9125 LED Headlamp
The Blukar K9125 is our pick of Blukar’s three headlamps. It has a spotlight, a floodlight, both together, stepless dimming from 100% to 30%, a red light with SOS and a motion sensor, with USB-C charging, an IPX5 rating and a weight of 83 g on our scale. The eight modes on two buttons take some learning, it runs about 3.5 hours with both lights on, and the battery is built in. I paid $21 for it. For campers and hikers who want both a spot and a flood beam in a light head torch, it’s a very good buy.
