Light modes
The K9112 keeps things simple. It has one light source, a wide COB strip that gives an even flood of light without a hot spot in the middle. That suits close-up jobs like cooking, reading or sorting gear in the tent.
There are four regular modes: strong white, weak white, strong red and a red strobe. The red light is easier on your eyes at night and doesn’t dazzle the person next to you. There’s no spotlight for distance and no dimming, so brightness is either strong or weak.

Motion sensor
Two more modes work with the built-in motion sensor: strong white and strong red. In sensor mode you wave a hand in front of the headlamp to switch it on or off, which is handy when your hands are wet, dirty or full.
Charging and battery
The K9112 has a built-in 1,200 mAh battery and charges through a USB-C port on the lamp, which sits under a rubber flap that keeps water and dust out. A short USB-A to USB-C cable comes in the box, so you can top it up from a power bank or a USB socket in the car. The battery is built in, so there are no batteries to buy or swap.

Comfort and fit
At 78 g on our scale with the headband, the K9112 is light on the head. The headband is a single elastic strap, black and red, that adjusts with a buckle. The lamp tilts up to 45° in its bracket, so you can aim the light down at your hands or further ahead.

Blukar K9112 vs K9111 vs K9125
Blukar sells three headlamps that look alike in the box, and we have all three. They share the same headband, a 1,200 mAh battery, USB-C charging, a motion sensor and a 45° tilt. The differences are in the light and the controls:
| K9112 | K9111 | K9125 | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Light | COB strip | Spot + flood | Spot + flood |
| Modes | 6 | 8 | 8 |
| Stepless dimming | No | Yes | Yes |
| Red light | Strong, strobe | On, flash | On, SOS |
| Power on the label | 5 W | 8 W | 8 W |
| Weight on our scale | 78 g | 84 g | 83 g |
The K9112 is the simple one: a single flood light, strong or weak. If you also want a spotlight for distance and brightness you can dim, look at the Blukar K9111 or the Blukar K9125.
Of the three, the K9112 is the one for people who just want a light that works: two brightness levels, a red light and nothing to learn. For only a dollar or two more, though, the K9125 and K9111 add a spotlight and dimming, so the K9125 would be our pick of the three.

Conclusion: Blukar K9112 LED Headlamp
